The IASC Specialty Coffee Business Seminar came about after show manager David Heilbrunn fielded countless requests from Coffee Fest attendees who were looking for an educational program that would help their specialty coffee business. He also heard from individuals looking to jump into the coffee industry but didn’t know where to start. David responded by creating a program that would satisfy his customers, and recruited three experienced specialty coffee professionals, who together, created a comprehensive program that would help retailers be, or become, successful.

This three-day long, intensive seminar is now offered in conjunction with each Coffee Fest trade show domestically. This seminar has become part of the gold standard education program that draws retailers back to Coffee Fest annually.

Since 1994, when the business seminar was launched, over 2000 participants have taken this seminar and, to date, graduates agree, "The seminar was fantastic.” Attendees report that out of all the seminars they’ve attended, regardless of business sector, this one bests them all. Dates and Times for the Seminar: The seminars are on the same three days as the trade show. Times are 8:00AM - 6:00PM on Friday and Saturday and 8:00AM - 4:00PM on Sunday. Time will be given to walk the trade show floor on breaks.
