Second place went to Matthew Bolchi of Commonwealth Cafe in Rochester Hills, MI and third place to Takehiro Okudaira from CAFERISTA in Nagareyama City, Japan. Winners were each awarded with a cash prize, a glass trophy and a milk pitcher with a custom imprint designed by Eight Ounce Coffee Supply.

For Marth, inspiration comes from others in the latte art competition. Marth was particularly inspired by Antoine Franklin, Coffee Fest Portland 2017 Latte Art World Championship Open Champion. “I originally chose to begin competing in the Latte Art World Championship Open after Antoine brought a trophy back home to Blacksmith. I was inspired by him to work hard and do the same.”
