Owner, Sip & Sonder

While practicing law, Amanda-Jane Thomas and Shanita Nicholas became friends, business partners and eventually founders of Sip & Sonder, the first specialty coffee house in Inglewood, California. Established in 2017, their flagship location features a Bellwether coffee roaster, creative space, and multi-purpose event space on site. Amanda-Jane and Shanita’s vision for Sip & Sonder is much more than your ordinary coffee shop—they have created a Black women-owned coffee house and roastery where coffee, community, and culture truly connect.
